Apply Online Through CaliforniaColleges.edu

It's easy to apply to the CSU right from CaliforniaColleges.edu. It's simple, accurate and efficient for you and the campus.

If you have a CaliforniaColleges.edu account, then all the relevant information you have already entered will transfer into the CSU online application. There are two ways to access a CSU campus application from CaliforniaColleges.edu.

  1. From the College. If you are on the "At a Glance" page of a CSU campus, you will find the "Undergraduate Application" link on the right sidebar. Clicking on "Undergraduate Application" will launch the campus application.
  2. From Applications and Transcripts. Go to "Apply to College and Track Your Applications." Clicking on "Apply" will launch the campus application.

Apply Online Through CSUMentor.edu

If you don't have a CaliforniaColleges.edu account, don't worry. You can enter all of the necessary information directly on the online application. The online application is available on the CSUMentor website.

Start your online application anytime, one advantage to applying online is that you don't have to complete the entire application in one sitting. Simply save your work and return later at your convenience.

Many CSU campuses do not accept fall term applications after the initial filing period which ends on November 30, so apply early.

To be competitive in the application process, remember to answer all of the questions in the application and file your application early and stay current with all of the deadlines set by the campus.

Applying to More Than One Campus

Each CSU campus processes and makes admission decisions for applicants to that campus. This means that if you want to apply to more than one CSU, you will need to apply to each campus in which you have an interest. The online application process autofills most of the information for each additional CSU admission application, saving you time. You then only need to complete the campus specific information, verify your information, submit application fee and submit.

Applying to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides assistance through mentorship, academic programs, financial assistance, counseling/advising, and other campus support services to those who are first generation college students, and/or from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.

To submit the CSU EOP Applicaiton follow these instructions:

  • Follow this link to CSU Mentor.
  • Enter your CaliforniaColleges.edu username and password under "Returning User".
  • Once logged in go to the EOP Application Manager portal.
  • Complete an EOP application per the instrctions on the page for each CSU campus you have applied to.

 

Priority Filing Period for Fall

The priority filing period for fall ends on November 30 each year.
